Cabins are great. Although, we brought a boat and was told by front office that we can't have in water due to had motor. Later in day multiple motorized boats in the water and no fishing out of kayaks. Kids were not able to wear shorts and tank top in pool; they to have bathing suit. Was told can't have floats in pool (even for infants/toddlers). Went to rent kayaks for evening and was told no kayaking after 3 due to close at 4 even though we are staying at the cabins and front gate don't close until 9/10. We won't be going back.
Excellent place for a get a way. Family in from out of town and rented two of the small cabins and they are awesome. Sleeps 6 comfortably and very spacious. Highly recommended.
This place was fantastic. It was quite and had a great play ground for the kids. It also have a very clean swimming pool. The cabins and the party hall are very nice.
We've visited the pool several times this year. $3.00 per head per day. Can't beat it. Clean. Observant Life Guards. Carry your family this coming weekend!
I love our state park.... I know its under funded and I wish there was something to do to fix that and make this great place even better!!!
