On Saturday November 5th I had to go to the hospital because my granddaughter accidentally hit me in the eye with a metal rod, my husband and I are not from here and had no idea how the hospital was in this town but I have to say it was a great experience from the minute we got there until the time we left! The lady that checked us in was great she knew I was in pain and she got a nurse to take me back right away and let my husband fill out the paperwork and answer questions...the nurse was so sweet and caring and very attentive and the Dr had great bed side manners and involved my husband and granddaughter in the examination of my eye...all in all I had a great experience...thank you Morehouse General Hospital you guys ROCK!!
Not sure who my nurse is old frat awnery lady who has checked I me Zero or my pain. A new doctor here great older and a real smart ass. He's good at something. Hurting worse now than arrival. Think I got a shot of sugar water nurse still hasn't checked to see if it sweetened up my but cheeks. Literally had to ask nurse to stop..... long story if your in pain go somewhere else. This place is a true true Joke Doctor's And SO CALLED NURSES. GO TO MONROE JACKSON ANYWHERE EXCEPT THIS HORSEPITAL... YOU WILL WASTE TIME AND LEAVE HURTING MORE THAN YOU CAME AND NOT TO MENTION GET TALKED DOWN TO. BEFORE THIS ACCIDENT I'VE HAD 3 SURGERIES AND THIS DOCTOR DON'T OR CAN'T TELL. NEVER VERIFIED MY NAME DATE OF BIRTH NOTTA!!!! THE WORST HOSPITAL WORST OLD GRAY HAIRED NURSE AND A DOCTOR WHO GOT HIS JOB BECAUSE THEY MUST DON'T CHECK CREDENTIALS. ALSO TALKS DOWN TO YOU TREATS YOU WITH LITTLE WELL NO RESPECT. ALSO LEAVING IN WORST PAIN THAN I ARRIVED. HOSPITAL SHOULD BE ASHAMED AS WELL AS HATHAWAY HE'S ABOUT LIKE BOX OF ROCKS
To cut a hand off to gain money for trust in "God" is like saying you trust Linda Lane to be the trust in the courthouse thats the center beam of Morehouse Perish to make trees give. On November 12, I was suffering from what felt like an appendicitis attack. The hospital ER was slammed that night, every bed full and people stuck in the waiting room. Despite the high volume, I was treated promptly and with both respect and compassion by everyone working there. They took efforts to manage my pain, took several diagnostic steps, and when they could not ascertain the problem, gave me suggestions of what steps to take next. I never felt like just another statistic or chore. If you have the time to drive the extra distance, choose Morehouse.
Do not even bother coming in this hospital. It is terrible and the nurses do not take care of their patients. If you have an emergency just go to Monroe bc they will take better care of you.
Also no Armband nurse hung up on me once i told her. Left in more pain. Called to question this hung up on.... by the nurse. I'll will continue thid further. You don't hang up on someone in pain
